“Genesis” Docu-Magazine

Docu-Magazine is a wonderful project born from an idea of ​​Finnish Photographer and Publisher Tuomas Koskialho, who personally honored me with the invitation to publish a special monographic issue of my works.

The first edition of Docu-Magazine was released in Helsinki, Finland in June 2020. Tuomas was frustrated by the fact that many print photography publications had moved online, abandoning traditional print, and decided to launch his own print publication: Docu Magazine. This reminds me of my great adventure with Pretty Vacant Magazine from 2018 to 2021.

And thank you to Tuomas for never giving up despite the difficulties and the low regard that small independent publishing projects usually have. “Print is not dead” is the Docu-Magazine motto, and I totally agree with them.

So I introduce you “Genesis”, a selection of 21 of my Wildlife shots, taken between 2022 and 2024. This Magazine is made in paper and digital format, with great quality and care and I’m very satisfied with the result that enhances and respects my work.

As I also wrote in the introduction of the Magazine, “Genesis” does not want to be a presumptuous title, but a declaration of my personal Genesis as a Wildlife photographer. Here is a small extract of the digital magazine.
