"Being your neighbor, coexisting with nature" Exhibition in Wuxi, China
Matilda in China
My photo of Humpback Whale “Matilda” is on display in China. You may remember her, injured by a rope along the coast of California.
Thanks to Yvette, a Chinese student from Wuxi, Matilda’s story will be known to more people.
The photo, displayed in the Interactive Exhibition “Being Neighbor, Living with Nature,” created to raise awareness and reinvent the relationship between humans and nature, is aimed primarily at children, who are undoubtedly more receptive and sensitive to these issues than adults, even at a young age.
The photo will be on display at the “Yunhe Bund” in Wuxi City, Binhu District, from July 15 to September 15, 2025.
Matilda in China
